What Is The Ferroalloy Briquette?
The main raw material of ferroalloy briquettes is silicon slag, which is pressed into a flat sphere by grinding silicon slag into powder form and adding alloy powders, using professional briquetting equipment. Ferroalloy briquettes are rich in Si elements. Usually, manufacturers will grade ferroalloy briquettes according to their Si element content, and the common grades of ferroalloy briquettes are 45#, 50#, 65#, 70#, etc. According to the different raw materials and processing processes, ferroalloy briquettes can be divided into silicon metal briquettes, ferrosilicon briquettes, high-carbon silicon briquettes, etc.
How to produce Ferroalloy Briquette?
- 1. Prepare the silicon slag, alloy powder, and balling equipment for making ferroalloy briquettes.
- 2. Grind the silicon slag into powder form, and proportion the alloy powder according to the demand.
- 3. Use a mixer to mix well and then feed into the briquetting equipment.
- 4. After pressing and molding, enter the calcining furnace at high temperature to remove a large number of impurity elements.
